Everyone has their own perspective of what is the condition of a specimen .Perfect or Excellent condition.- No visible chips or gouges and also nice luster. Every specimen has a contact point and this accounts for the place where it was attached to the matrix. Depends on where it is located on the specimen. Very Good condition- One small or minor ding on a specimen that may or may not be noticeable but not affect the aesthetics of the specimen. Good condition- more than one minor ding or chip, or one larger chip or cleaved crystal. I don’t usually have anything under good condition on my website. The website usually has the condition of the specimen listed so you can decide if you want it.
